Strike out all of the first section after the enacting clause.

Prefix the word ``that'' to the second section

Annex to the third Section the following (viz) That each certificate so made out shall be filed with the clerk of the county commissioners' court within ten days after obtaining the same

Annotation

[1]   AD, I-Ar. Lincoln's amendment, along with sundry others reported on January 17 by the select committee of which Lincoln was a member, came to naught. The bill was rejected in favor of a brief substitute reviving an earlier act of March 23, 1829, which was approved February 6, 1835 (Laws of the State of Illinois, 1835, p. 51).
