An oyle of S. Iohns wort for wounds.

Rec. Summitatum hyperici contusi lib. j.ss. vini maluat. lib.℥.iij.ss. olei oliuarum lib.iij. Mixe them, and set them in the sunne tenne daies, then boyle them in balneo ma∣riae twelue houres, and straine them, adding thereto florum hyperici lib.j. Infuse them other tenne daies, and last of all add to them terebinthinae venetae lib.ss. masticis ℥.j.ss. sarcocollae, cariophyllorū, ana.℥.ij. myrrhae ℥.j. macis ʒ.vj. vermium terrestrium ℥.iij. Powder what is to bee powdred, and boyle them to the consumption of the wine and iuyce of the herbes, and after the straining reserue it to your vse.
