O, to whome shall I make my mone Line 463 For to go with me in that heuy iournaye? Line 464 Fyrst Felawshyp sayd he wolde with me gone; Line 465 His wordes were very pleasaunt and gaye, Line 466 But afterwarde he lefte me alone. Line 467 Than spake I to my kynnesmen, all in dyspayre, Line 468 And also they gaue me wordes fayre; Line 469 They lacked no fayre spekynge, Line 470 But all forsake me in the endynge. Line 471 Than wente I to my Goodes that I loued best, Line 472 In hope to haue comforte; but there had I leest, Line 473 For my Goodes sharpely dyd me tell Line 474 That he bryngeth many in to hell.
