Welcome to the searchable collection of photographs from the Archives of the Ypsilanti Historical Society. When completed this collection will contain approximately 5,000 photographs dating from the 1850s to the present. Images included cover people, buildings, homes, events, celebrations and other subjects.
The Ypsilanti Historical Society Photos project was cooperatively developed and is being continually expanded by the Ypsilanti Historical Society and the University of Michigan Digital Library Initiative. Katie Drow and Sharon Bahadosingh are coordinating the development of the photo scans and database for the Ypsilanti Historical Society.
The University of Michigan Library and the Ypsilanti Historical Society provide access to these materials for educational and research purposes. These materials may be under copyright.
