A group of Native Americans performing the Snow-Shoe Dance, a ceremonial dance celebrating the year's first snowfall. The dancers are wearing snowshoes, feather headdresses, body paint, animal-skin leggings and animal-skin breechcloths and carrying bows, war clubs, and spears. One dancer holds aloft a pole that has a pair of snowshoes affixed to it.
