This honorary title is conferred in recognition of past services to The University of Michigan and in anticipation of continued close association with the staff and students of the Center for Japanese Studies. *Martin Sichel, M.M.E., Assistant Professor of Aeronautical Engineering, for three years beginning with the University year 1961-62 Walter P.
