546 FEBRUARY MEETING, 1941 Bernard Henry Vollrath, B.S.(E.E.), Captain, Signal Corps Reserve, was appointed Assistant Professor of Military Science and Tactics from February 10 to June 30, 1941, with compensation at the rate of $376 for the University year, vice Colonel Robert N. Kunz (R.P. 1936-1939, p. 1003), relieved by Government orders. The following appointments to and changes in the teaching staff of the Summer Session of 1941, all within the budget, were approved (p. 528): COLLEGE OF LITERATURE, SCIENCE, AND THE ARTS Library Science Eleanor M. Putney, Reviser, $276, vice Anna C. Smith, declined Romance Languages Hayward Keniston, Professor, $920. This cancels previous appointment. SCHOOL OF EDUCATION I. A. Booker, Lecturer, $425. This cancels previous appointment. H. W. Copp, Lecturer, $350 E. G. Johnston, Lecturer, $700. This cancels previous appointment. C. L. Nemzek, Lecturer, $600 E. R. Phelps, Teacher in Workshop, $400 W. W. Theisen, Lecturer, $700 H. L. Turner, Lecturer, without salary F. O. Wilcox, Teacher in Workshop, $500 A. F. Zander, Assistant, $150 SCHOOL OF MUSIC Cleo Fox, Part-time Instructor, $125 J. J. Gajec, Assistant in Oboe, $50 Dale C. Harris, Part-time Instructor, $125 R. D. Kuite, Assistant in Band Library, $75 Leonard Meretta, Part-time Instructor, $200 Harold Mueller, Assistant, $50 Robert Moss, Instructor in Piano, $414 E. L. No addition to the budget was involved.
