Wilson Lectureship in Cardiology (R.P. 1936-1939, p. 828)................................. 301.00 The Regents gratefully accepted, in accordance with all its terms and conditions, the following proffer: We hereby give to the Regents of the University of Michigan the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) to establish a permanent memorial to Marguerite Knowlton Bursley, a graduate of the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts with the Class of 1901. The gift is contingent upon the acceptance by the Regents of the following qualifications: (1) The Memorial shall be known as the Marguerite Knowlton Bursley Scholarship Fund. (2) The income from the Fund shall be set aside annually as an award to be made in the fall of each year to that member of the junior or senior class of Collegiate Sorosis whose scholastic record for the preceding year was among the highest in these classes in Sorosis, and who at the same time has done much to create an atmosphere of friendliness and co-operation among the girls in Collegiate Sorosis and by her graciousness and understanding has been an inspiration to others, both scholastically and socially. Other things being equal, financial need shall be given consideration and, if under exceptional circumstances, it is deemed best by the Committee, the award may be split into two parts in any year in
