Hewitt, Lecturer, $400 INTERNATIONAL CENTER Sarah Grollman, Language Assistant, $400 The following appointments and cancellation were made for the summer of 1942, in the National Music Camp at Interlochen (p. 852): F. O. Crandall, Assistant Professor, $529 Olive L. Crandall, Instructor, $414 Erik Leidzen, Guest Lecturer, $800 Edwin Lennig, Guest Lecturer, $100 Marion MlcArtor, Instructor, $414 George Rasely, Guest Lecturer, $600 The appointment of W. W. Norton is canceled. The salaries are not payable by the University but will be paid by the National High School Orchestra Camp Association. The Board approved and confirmed appointment of the following physicians as Extramural Lecturers in Postgraduate Medicine for the period of twelve months following April 1, 1942. There is no obligation on the part of the University for compensation (p. 800): Dr. Frederick G. Buesser, Detroit Dr. William Le Fevre, Muskegon Dr. Howard P. Doub, Detroit Dr. John G. Mateer, Detroit Dr. Lawrence S. Fallis, Detroit Dr. Robert C. Moehlig, Detroit Dr. Linus J. Foster, Detroit Dr. Vernor 5I. Moore, Grand Rapids Dr. Joseph A. Johnston, Detroit Dr. Charley Smyth, Eloise Dr. Charles G. Johnston, Detroit Dr. Henry J. Vanden Berg, Grand Rapids Dr. Donald H. Kaump, Detroit Dr. Elmore C. Vonder Heide, Detroit Dr. Eldwin R. Witwer, Detroit Regent Crowley was excused. The Board made the following appointments to the Executive Board of the Graduate School (p. 665; R.P. 1936-1939, p. 232): To succeed himself, Professor Malcolm H. Soule, for the five-year term beginning July 1, 1942, and ending June 30, 1947 To succeed Associate Professor Dow V. Baxter, term expired, Professor George G. Brown, for the five-year term beginning July 1, 1942, and ending June 30, 1947 The Board made the following appointments to the Board in Control of Intercollegiate Athletics (p. 870; R.P. 1936-1939, pp. 951 and 549): Dr. Carl E. Badgley, to succeed himself, for the term of four years, beginning June 1, 1942 Paul Goebel, to succeed himself as an alumni member, for the term of three years, beginning June 1, 1942 The Board made the following appointments to the Board of Governors of the Michigan League (pp. 549 and 299; R.P. 1936-1939, p. 962):
