The Regents commissioned Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company
to audit the books of the University with inclusion of the dormitories.
at the same charge as last year, namely, $3,300 (p. 541). Also with
the approval of the Board of Governors of the University of Michigan
League, Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company will audit the books of
the League for a charge of $2 50. These audits are to cover the
University fiscal year 1938-1939.
After discussion of circumstances arising in connection with the
Frederick R. Babcock estate, the Board made these questions a special
order for the regular meeting of May 26, with the request that George
J. Burke, counsel, be present at the meeting (p. 906).
All of the above actions were by unanimous vote.
The Board adjourned to the date of the next regular meeting,
May 26, at 3:30 P.M.
