Now, therefore, be it Resolved, By The Regents of the University of Michigan,
that the contract for all trades, in the amount of $711,425, be awarded to Walbridge-Aldinger Co.
That this award shall not be effective until the awardee has been notified in
writing by the Vice-President and Secretary of The Regents of the University of
Michigan of the award of the pertinent contract.
The following "Resolution Awarding Contract" was adopted

WHEREAS, The Regents of the University of Michigan in the County of
Washtenaw and the State of Michigan pursuant to an advertisement for bids on
the construction of the proposed School of Children's Dentistry, herebefore published on the 7th and 14th days of January, 1939, did on the 26th day of January, 1939, at 2:00 o'clock Pv.r., at its office in the City of Ann Arbor, Michigan,
receive bids for the construction of a School of Children's Dentistry, which said
bids were taken under advisement by The Regents of the University of Michigan:
and
WHEREAS, The base bid of Eames and Brown for combined plumbing and
heating and ventilating is in error by the amount of $5,130 as a result of
inaccuracy in posting a quotation for fixtures, and
WHEREAS, The Architect and the University Building Committee are convinced
that the error was unintentional on the part of the Contractor, and
WHEREAS, The base bid of $48,382 for combined plumbing and heating and
ventilating, when increased by the error, and when reduced by the alternates taken
in sequence specified, to-wit: plumbing Alternates 1 to 6, inclusive, and heating
Alternates 1 to 4, inclusive, is the lowest bid submitted by any responsible bidder;

awarded to Eames and Brown.
