MAY MEETING, 1917

A communication from Professor Aubrey Tealdi with
regard to his title was referred, on motion of Regent Beal,
to the Budget Committee.
The following appointments and changes made by the
Secretary under authority which was granted at the time the
budget was adopted, were, on motion of Regent Hubbard,
approved and confirmed:John D. Hibbard, Student Assistant in Mechanical Engineering vice Gordon Smith, resigned, for the balance
of the second semester after April I7, 1917, with salary
at the rate of $Ioo for the semester.
Mrs. Catherine D. Wenley, Reading Assistant in Ethics,
from April I, 1917, with salary at the rate of $25 per
month.
Archie Russell, night fireman at the Botanical Garden, from
April I, 1917, with salary at the rate of $80 per month.
Edward M. Murphy, Student Assistant in Marine Engineering, vice H. E. Barrett, resigned, for the balance of the
second semester after May I, 1917, with salary at the
rate of $ioo for the semester.
William Cullum, holder of a $300 fellowship, resigned under date of April 30, 1917.
Edith P. Butler, Assistant in Zoology, vice Kent Ruble,
resigned, for the balance of the second semester after
April I7, 1917, with salary at the rate of $75 for the
semester.
Albert M. Boyd, Student Assistant in Architecture, for the
months of May and June, with salary at the rate of
$25 per month.
Lucian H. Greathouse, holder of a $300 fellowship, resigned
under date of May 14, 1917.
Walter G. Brayer, Student Assistant in Engineering
Mechanics, vice L. R. Crandall, resigned, for the balance of the second semester after May I, 1917, with salary at the rate of $75 for the semester.
