About the construction

Description: Two- story gable front Folk House with one- story addition on the rear. The west facade has a one- story wing with open entry porch and asymetrical gable front roof. Stone foundation on gable front and cement block foundation on additions.
Date Of Construction: ca. 1888
Context: Original ownership unknown. Occupied by G. Sheldon in the early twentieth century, George and Harriet Towler in the 1920s, Alvin Burkhardt (exact date of ownership unknown) and Lawrence Scherdt since the 1940s. Seen on 1888 through 1929 Sanborn maps.
