- The Death of St. Cecilia?
- Artist
- Benjamin West
- Physical Description
- A group of figures, all women and one child, look with concern towards the figure of a reclining woman at the right side of the composition who supports herself on one elbow on several low steps. The interior is only briefly described but is classical in proportions and details with a column and drapery behind the reclining woman. In the doorway at the far left are two other standing women talking with one another and gesturing towards the reclining figure.

- The Bremen Town Musicians (Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten), preparatory drawing for print, "Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten," in Alfred Kubin, Abenteuer einer Zeichenfeder (Münich: R. Piper & Co., 1941) #13
- Artist
- Alfred Kubin
- Physical Description
- To the right, four animals - a donkey, goat, cat, and rooster - appear stacked upon one another in a barely sketched-in window. On the left side, four figures sit at what appears to be a meal in a dinning room, with a soup tureen and various dishes. The image is hastily sketched and few details are absolutely readable, other than basic shapes.

- Physical Description
- This painting shows the interior of a large prison room. There is a thick stone wall and iron grating. Three figures are the focal point of this composition. One man, in a dark blue cloak, is standing and faces two other men who stare intently at his face. One of them is seated with a leg iron, on a stone bench and the other leans on a stone ledge. They are are dressed in simple brown cloaks. The standing figure has a raised left arm and is gesturing with his hand outstretched toward the other figures.
