Note: Editor's note: "A word of rare occurrence, except in the city records. It may be intended for Sandrine, i.e. Alexandrine, a rich striped silk material..Sharpe, Cal. of Wills II, p. xxxvii, connects the word with OF cendrins, cendrons, couleur de cendre and suggests ash-coloured material. To judge from the price and its position in the text, semdrin sems to be a woolen material, and Sharpe's suggestion is reasonable."
