This stencil is unfortunately ambiguous, since MED used the same form for Gairdner's 1904 edition (most examples in volumes A-M) and the Davis edition (most examples in volumes N-Z), citing both by volume and page. Where feasible, these have been converted retroactively to specify their source (see below).
