[1]   American Art Association Catalog, February 20-21, 1928, No. 265. According to the catalog description, Lincoln's endorsement appears on a letter of A. O. Aldis to Senator Jacob Collamer, February 9, 1865, asking parole of Captain W. H. S. Burgoyne. Dana endorsed on February 17, ``Referred with directions to send Captain Burgoyne forward in the first body of officers who are exchanged.''
