[1] ALS, owned by Noah M. Dixon, Springfield, Illinois. This note is written on the bottom of a letter to Lincoln from Richard M. Young, commissioner of the General Land Office, dated February 21, 1848. Young's letter transmits a land patent in favour of John W. Stringfield of Sangamon County.
