[1]   ALS-P, ISLA. Prickett was a resident of Springfield who had been elected clerk of the House of Representatives in 1834 and 1836 and prosecuting attorney of the first judicial circuit in 1837. He had been defeated for judge of the eighth judicial circuit by Stephen T. Logan in February, 1839.

[2]   The judgment was awarded to Kerr & Co. for $513.49 on July 13.
