AN ORDINATION SERMON.
"Praying always, with all Prayer, and Supplication in the Spirit;—and for me,—that I may open my Mouth boldly to make known the Mystery of the Gospel."
MY view, in the choice of this text, is, without the loss of time by a prefatory introduction, to employ your thoughts upon the following important points contained in it.
A summary description of the subject, it is proper ministers should preach upon; "the mystery of the Gospel". Their duty to make this subject the main scope of their preaching; "that I may make known the mystery of the Gospel".
