••agels, verse 14. And the wall of the city had twelve ••undations, and in them the names of the twe••ve Apostles 〈◊〉〈◊〉 the lamb. Here are the names of the other twelve ••ders, upon whose foundation is built the Gentile Churches, ••h. 2.20. And are built upon the foundations of the Apo|••s, which make the four and twenty. And thus their ••ts are round about the throne; for the throne of God 〈◊〉〈◊〉 in the midst of the city, and the doors, and the foun|••ations are round about the city.
And the four beasts. These four beasts represent the ••ur spirits of the heavens, Zech, 6.5. They are the An|••els of God. Thus the four and twenty elders, and the ••our beasts, who represent all the saints, and all the holy Angels, falling down and worshiping God, that sits on the ••rone, saying, Amen, that is, verily so let it be, this ••as ascribing to God his Justice for judging the great Whore ••llelujah, or praise the Lord. This is to ascribe praise ••o God for his Justice upon the great whore.
Verse 5. And avoice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God all ye his servants, and ••e that fear him, both small and great.
This verse sheweth us, that upon the four and twenty eders, and the four beasts falling down, and worshiping God that sat on the throne, a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God all ye his servants, and ye that fear him both small and great.
Verse 6. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the the voice of mighty thun|derings, saying, Allelujah, for the Lord God Om|••ipotent (or Almighty) reigneth.
The voice of this great multitude like many waters, and like mighty thunderings, was in answer and obedience to that voice, that came out of the throne, saying, praise ••ur God all ye his servants, and ye that fear him both ••all and great. Accordi••ly all his ervants, and them that feared him, both small and great lift up their voices, saying, Allelujah, that is, praise the Lord: For the Lord
