BY THE Lords-Justices of IRELAND.

CHARLES PORTER, THO: CONIGESBY.

WHereas several Soldiers of the French Regiment of Foot under the Com∣mand of Colonel Francis du Cambon, have Deserted, and do still Desert and leave their Colours; VVe therefore hereby think fit to Publish and De∣clare, That all and every Soldier or Soldiers of the said Regiment, that shall at any time be found to straggle or be above a Mile from Athlone, their present Garrison, or from any other Quarter or Garri∣son in which they may hereafter be, shall be deemed and taken as Deserters, and punished accordingly. And all Persons whatsoever are hereby Required to stop and seize all and every such Soldier or Soldiers as they shall find to be so far distant from their said Garrison or Quar∣ter, without a Printed Pass or License from the Officer in Chief with the Regiment, and to carry or send them in safe Custody to the said Officer in Chief, in order to their being punished according to their Demerit; And for every Soldier they shall so apprehend and deliver up, they shall receive the Summ of Ten Shillings as a Re∣ward.

Given at the Castle of Dublin this Fifth day of March, 1691.
