A Prayer to be saide in the Morning.

O Heauenly father I ren∣der vnto thee most har∣tye thanckes, that thou hast mercifully vouch∣safed to preserue mee this night passed: besee∣ching thee also in like manner, that thou wilte this whole daye following moste gratiously preserue mee vnto the glory and laude of thy holye name, and to the saluation of my Soule. And thou which arte the onely true lighte, and knowest thereof no going downe, and which arte the eternall Sunne, whiche quickneth, nourisheth, and refresheth all thinges: I beseeche thee (with thy clearenesse) to shine into my hearte and minde, leaste (at anye tyme) I waxe ouer grosse in sin: but by thy holy direction, I may attaine vnto euerlastyng life. AMEN.
