The White-Dike.
The White-Dike is a Shoal that runs off from the shore a large half mile, and lies half a mile to the northwards of Ramsgate; all the inner part of it dries every Ebb, and on the outer-part it is two foot at low-water; and at sometimes there is but eight or nine foot in the Chan∣nel betwixt this and the Querns. This Shoal is noted in the Draught with the Letter t.
