Y Sawl y frathwyd gan y  ddraig,
Dewch at Grist Jesu, Had y wraig,
Fe drin y brath, fe dynn y colyn,
Fe rwym y ddraig, fe siga ei chobyn.

Rym ni bob rhai gwedi 'n brathu,
Mae col pechod gwedi 'n gryddfu:
Ni all ond Christ ein helio,
Fe yw'r Sarph bres, craffwn arno.

Craffwn ar Ghrist a groes-hoeliwyd,
Fel y craffei 'r rhai a frathwyd,
Ar y Sarph bres yn y diffaith,
Fe a'r loes a'r gwenwyn ymmaith.

Os edrychwn arno yn  brudd,
A chalon donn, a llygad ffydd,
Er ir Sarph, a'i chol ein clwyfo,
Fe 'n Iacha, ond edrych arno.

Oni ddewn at Grist ar fyrder,
I gael help rhag brath y wiber,
Nid oes Meddyg yn yr holl-fyd,
Ond Mab Duw all gadw ein bywyd.
