The Son, which is the Word of the Father, be∣gotten from everlasting of the Fathera 1.1, the veryb 1.2 and eternal Godc 1.3, of one substance with the Fa∣therd 1.4, took mans nature in the womb of the bles∣sed Virgin, of her substancee 1.5. So that two whole and perfect natures, that is to say, the Godhead and the Manhood, were joyned together in one person,

never to be divided, whereof is one Christ very God and very Manf 1.6, who for our fakes truely suf∣fered most grievous torments in his soul from Godg 1.7, was crucified, dead, and buriedh 1.8, to re∣concile his Father to usi 1.9, and to be a Sacrifice, not onely for original guilt, but also for all actual sins of menk 1.10.
