Let the Oysters be parboiled in their own liquor; wash and
dry them; season them with Nutmeg, Pepper, Salt, and the hard yolks of
Eggs; and the Pye being made Oval, put into it Currans and sliced Dates, and
on them lay the Oysters; add large Mace, Barberries, sliced Lemon and
Butter; and when it is baked, put into it White-wine, Sugar and Butter.
