I saw a sheep in a very rainy day, whose well-grown fleece as it kept him warm, so it drank in the wet, and thereby made the incon∣veniency of the rain much greater. As the grace of God makes a man able with patience to bear his sufferings, so it makes his sufferings more, for beside his particular griefs, he hath a fellow-feeling of all the concernments of Gods people too.
