I. OF GOD. Generals.

HE who co∣meth to him must believe that hee is, and that hee is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb. 11.6.

We cannot by sear∣ching find out the Al∣mighty to perfection. Job 11.7. and 37.23.

There is no search∣ing of his understan∣ding, Isaiah 40.28.

There is nothing too hard for him. Gen. 18.14. and Jer. 32.17. With him all things are possible. Mark 10.27.

There is neither wisdome, nor counsell, nor understanding a∣gainst him. Pro. ••••.30

Of him, and through him, and to him are all things: unto whom belongeth all glorie, Rom. 11.36.

His counsell must stand and he will do all his pleasure. Isai. 46.10.

It is in vain to question or stand out with him for he giveth no ac∣count of his matters. Job 33.13.

There is nothing got by our shifting, and thinking to flye from him. Jer. 32.••••.

The nearer we come unto him the more vile we shall finde our selves. Job. 40.4. Isa. 6. Job. 42..

His Counsel stand∣eth forever, the thoughts of his heart to a thou∣sand generations. Psal. 33.11.
