Violet-leaves; bruise them, and strain out the Juice into eight or ten Egs well beaten; then stamp Almonds with the Spawn of a Pike or Carp, and strain them with the Crumbs of fine Manchet, Sugar, and Rose-water, and fry it thin in sweet Butter, or put the Juice of the Herbs only strained with eight or ten Eggs; fry them in sweet Butter, and dish them up with Sugar; or you may put a little Flower and Rose-water to them.
