The necessity of Gods judgements against Israel.

Shall a Trumpet be blowne in the City, and the peo∣ple not be afraid? Shall there be evill in a City, and the Lord hath not done it? Amos 3. 6.

Here is another Prophet that complaines
But God knowes who doth pitty him for his paines.
He doth endeavour for to make all well
Between the Lord of Hosts and Israel.
O now for such an Amos that would stand
And talke with God, like Moses, hand to hand.
