Take pure old Juniper, shave it thin as may be, one ounce, of the flower or herb of Saint Johns wort half an ounce, of the

Gums of Olibanum, Mastick, and pure chosen Mirrhe, of each one ounce, your Gums grind great, your Saint Johns wort hack it small, your shavings of Ju∣niper in like sort, then mix them all to∣gether, and put them in so me conveni∣ent vessel; then add thereunto pure Ve∣nice Turpentine, as much as will make it like a piece of paste, then use it at your pleasure, taking the quantity of halfe a Nutmeg at a time, and burn it on a tile stone in your Chamber when you go to bed, and in the morning when you rise.
