  • ¶ Let him that ministreth read with a loud voice these Sentences of Scripture, and after them the Exhortation following.
  • ¶ The Confession to be said of the whole Congre∣gation after the Minister, all kneeling.
  • ¶ The Absolution to be pronounced by the Priest alone, standing; the people still kneeling.
  • ¶ The people shall answer here, and at the end of all other Prayers, Amen.

  • ¶ Here all standing up, the Priest shall say,
  • ¶ Instead of Venite, exultemus, shall be said this Hymn following; one Verse by the Priest, and another by the Clerk and people.

  • ¶ After the first Lesson shall follow Te Deum Lauda∣mus in English.
