For the Lorde is a great God and a great king aboue all gods. In his hands are all ye corners of the earth and the strength of the hils is his also. The sea is his & he made it and his handes prepared the drie land. O come let vs worship & fal down and knele before the Lorde our maker. For he is the Lord our God,

T¦day if ye will heare his voyce harden not your hertes, as in the pro∣uocation, and in the day of temptation in the wildernes whē your fa∣thers tempted me, proued me and saw my workes. Fortie yeares long was I greued with this generation and said it is a people that do erre in their hertes, for they haue not knowen my waies▪ Vnto whome I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
