As he spake by the mouth of hys holy Prophetes, which hath bene synce the world beganne, that we should be saued from our enemies, and from the handes of al that hate vs. To performe the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember hys holy couenaunt, to performe the othe whiche he sware to oure fathers Abraham, that he would geue vs. That we beyng deliuered out of the handes of our enemies myght serue hym without feare: in holynes and righteousnes before hym al the dayes of our lyfe, And thou chylde shalt be called the Prophete

Through the tēder mercy of our God, wherby the day spryng frō an high hath visited vs, to geue light to them that sytte in darknes, & in the shadow of death, and to guide our feete into the way of peace. Glory be to the father and to the sonne, and to the holye ghost. As it was in the beginnyng is nowe, and euer shal be world without end. Amen.
