EXHORTATION.

LOue not the worlde, neither the thinges that are in the worlde. If any man loue the worlde, the loue of the Father is not in him.

The worlde passeth away, and the lustes thereof: but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth for euer.

And they that vse this worlde, as though they vsed it not: for the fasshion of this worlde goeth away.

Yee adulterers, and adulteresses, know ye not that the amitie of the worlde, is the enimitie of God? Whoso∣euer therefore wilbe a friende of the worlde, maketh him selfe the enemie of God.

Page [unnumbered]

If ye were of the worlde, the worlde would loue his owne: But because ye are not of the worlde, but I haue cho∣sen you out of the worlde, therfore the worlde hateth you.

They are not of the worlde, as I am not of the worlde.

I pray not for the worlde, but for them which thou hast giuen mee: for they are thine.

And fashion not your selues like vnto this worlde, but be ye changed by the renewing of your minde, that ye may proue what is the good will of God, and accep∣table, and perfect.
