A SHORT CA∣TECHISME FOR THE Elder sort of the Children of Christs Hospitall in London.

Quest. SEING we are yet to speake of God the So∣ueraigne good; and of his word our guide to true happynesse; de∣clare vnto vs what God is? -
Quest. Who is the Creator and gouer∣nor of the world? -
Quest. Why were the Heauens, Angels, and celestiall bodies made? -
Quest. But some Angels are tempters and hurters of mankinde. -
Quest. Amongst all the creatures, which is the chiefest then? -
Quest. Why so? -
Quest. What is the chiefest end of mans creation? -
Quest. What rule hath God left vnto vs, how he would be serued? -
Quest. Deuide them. -
Quest. Rehearse them. -
Quest. Shew me the sense of euery Com∣mandement, particularly. -
Quest. Is there prescribed in the Law a perfect rule of righteousnesse? -
Quest. How commeth that to passe, se∣ing man was created perfect? -
