Take a pound of Garden Scurvy-Grass, six handfuls of Wormwood and Elder-tops, one Ounce of
Caraway-seeds, and an Ounce of Nutmegs, put them all together into 6 Gallons of New Ale, and let them work together, and after a convenient time of working, drink of it every Morning fasting.
