Let no man vvith coyne corrupt thee, to beare false witnes at any time against the vnguiltie person: neither suffer thy tunge to testifie an vntruth, through the vaine hope of worldly preferment.
But be well aduised what thou vnderta∣kest before thou speakest; and consider rightly of the cause, before thou giue re∣cord thereof in the presence of any Ruler.
