It is nothing prayse-worthy for a man to be humble in aduersitie, because necessitie then compelleth him: but in the midst of prosperitie to beare an humble minde, de∣serueth great commendation.
VVherefore, if thou desire to ascende where God the Father sitteth, thou must put on the true humilitie, which Christ his Sonne teacheth.
For, euery one that exalteth himselfe, shall be brought lowe; but hee that hum∣bleth himselfe, shall be exalted.
