¶ The .viij. daye of August. At rome in ostience strete the feest of saynt Ciriake a deacon / saynt Large & saȳt Smaragde / wt other .xx. {per}sones put to martyrdom by the emperour Dioclecian. In fraūce at nyenna ye feest of saynt Seuere / that after many labours & grete dy∣lygence of prechynge came vnto ye same cite / where he cōuerted the multytude therof / & so rested in our lorde.
