¶ The .xiij. day of Iuly. the feest of saynt Ioell & saȳt Esdre ye prophetes. In macedony ye feest of saynt Syle discyple vnto the apostles / & one of the fyrst yt by them was assigned to preche / wherin he had grete & syngu∣ler grace / & toke grete labours wt dylygence / & so rested in our lord. In affryke ye feest of saynt Eugene bysshop of cartage / a famous man & a martyr. And the feest of saynt Salutary an archedeacon / & saȳt Murite an of∣fycer wt the sayd bisshop / that wt hym were put to deth & wt them other {per}sones vnto the nombre of .v.C. of dy∣uerse degrees & age / as wel childer as men / that were put to many varyaūt turmentes / & thre tymes examy¦ned them in the same turmentes / after exile / for ye whi¦che they obteyned a synguler laude & prayse of cōstan∣cy & perseueraūce. In the lesse brytayn ye feest of saynt Thuran / a bysshop & cōfessour of meruaylous playne maners / symple and innocent. In englond the feest of saynt Mildrede a virgyn of grete holynes.
