¶Costus.

GOstus is an herbe called Coste, or lesse dytayn, this hath leues as dytayn, but they be not so moche, and the leues be more whyter then the leues of dytayn. Also it is sote in sauoure. ¶The vertue of this herbe is that he helyth the sekenes of the breste & of the long and also he wyll breke the Postym. Also he drawyth the humours of mans eyen. Also he is good for the stomake & it is hote & drye.
