And this death is therefore of so great worth and value both because the person that suffered it, is not onely true man, and perfectly holy, but also the only Sonne of God, of the same eternall and infinite essence with the Father and the Ho∣ly Ghost; such as our Saviour ought to be: And secondly, be∣cause his death was ioyned with the sense and feeling of the wrath and curse of God, which we by our sinnes had deser∣ved.
