GIve thanks to God, for good is He: for mercy hath He ever. Thanks to the God of gods give ye:Line 2 for His grace faileth never. Thanks give the Lord of lords unto:Line 3 for mercy hath He ever. Who only wonders great can do:Line 4 for His grace faileth never.
Who by His wisdom made heav'ns high:Line 5 for mercy He hath ever. Who stretcht the earth above the sea:Line 6 for His grace faileth never. To Him that made the great Light shine:Line 7 for mercy He hath ever. The Sun to rule till day decline:Line 8 for His grace faileth never.
The Moon and Stars to rule by night,Line 9 for mercy hath He ever. Who Aegypts first-born kill'd outright,Line 10 for His grace faileth never. And Israel brought from Aegypt land,Line 11 for mercy hath He ever. With stretcht out arm, and with strong hand:Line 12 for His grace faileth never.
