The
Great Hallel orPaschal Hymn, which was sung by theJews at thePas∣sover, and by ourSaviour and hisApostles at the Institution of theLord's Supper, consisting ofPsalms 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118. The two for∣mer were sung towards the Beginning of theFeast, the rest at the End of it . The first of thesePsalms (the 113.) is still used by theTigu∣rine Churches at theCommunion . And any of them, as they are here turned intoMetre, may be sung, either in Private, or by a Fa∣mily, before or afterSacrament.
