9. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou, that we
prepare?
HOW careful are the Disciples, that they may do
nothing contrary to their Master's Will! How do
they enquire after the very place, where he would have
them prepare! O my Soul! How little hast thou been
concerned, whether thy God were pleased, or not!
Thou hast been so far from observing the Circumstan∣tials
of Religion, that thou hast not minded the Sub∣stance.
How hast thou rushed into Sin, as the Horse
rushes into the Battel; without being sollicitous or con∣cerned
about offending God! How little hast thou en∣quired
what thy Lord and Master requires of thee! How
contentedly ignorant hast thou been of his Laws, and
how loth to know thy Master's Will, that thou mightest
not be obliged to do it!
