IX. For the Cholick, and divers other Distempers.
TAke four or five Balls of fresh Stone-horse Dung, and let them steep for about a quarter of an Hour (or less,) in a Pint of White-wine, in a Vessel well stopp'd that the Liquor may be richly im∣pregnated with the more volatile and subtil Parts of the Dung; strain this, and give of it from a quarter to half a Pint, or some Ounces more at a time; the Patient having a Care not to take Cold after it.
