HOw long wilt thou forget me (O Lord) for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

HOw long, Lord, wilt thou me forget, for ever shall this be? How long time shall it be that thou wilt hide thy face from me?

2 How long shall I take counsell in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemie be exalted over me?

2 How long take counsell in my soul shall I, and daily be In heart sad? how long shall my so exalted be ov'r me?

3 Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God▪ lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death.

3 Consider thou, O Lord my God, and hearken to me now: Lest that I sleep the sleep of death, mine eyes enlighten thou.

4 Lest mine enemie say, I have prevailed against him: and those that trouble me, rejoyce▪ when I am moved.

4 Lest I against him have prevail'd my foe say, and the same That do me trouble shoud rejoyce when as I moved am.

5 But I have trusted in thy mercy, my hea•…•… shall rejoyce in thy salvation.

5 But in thy mercy surely I have put my trust alone, My heart within me shall rejoyce in thy salvation.

6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath •…•…alt bountifully with me.
