When one Ambassador is relieved, or succeeded by another, at the arrival of the new they both go together to Court, whereas they are going to their Audience, he that is relieved, still takes the upper hand of the new one; but when they come back from their Audience, the new Comer, or Succes∣sour, takes place of the other: But if an Ambassa∣dor only in Ordinary be sent to relieve one that is Ambassador Extraordinary, the Extraordinary Am∣bassador takes the upper hand, both in going to, and coming from Audience.
